Technical Notes
01
67-Layer Damascus Core
High-carbon steel folded and forged into 67 layers around a hardened cutting core. The flowing pattern is the steel itself — not a laser etch — so no two blades are alike.
02
15° Hand-Honed Edge
Each blade is ground and stropped by hand to 15° per side — a narrow, precise angle that glides through food with almost no pressure.
03
60–62 HRC Hardened Core
Heat-treated to the sweet spot on the Rockwell scale: hard enough to hold a keen edge for weeks, tough enough to take everyday kitchen work.
04
Full-Tang Construction
The steel runs the full length of the handle, forged from tip to heel and triple-riveted. That's where the balance, strength and control come from.
05
Contoured Hardwood Handle
Balanced at the bolster so the weight sits in your hand, not the tip. Sealed hardwood with a smooth, seamless transition to the steel.

FAQS
Answers to the questions we get most about OMEGA Ripple Series.
Most supermarket knives are stamped — punched out of a steel sheet and machine-ground. Every Ripple Series blade is forged from 67 layers of high-carbon Damascus steel, then ground, balanced and finished by hand. The result is a sharper edge, better edge retention and a knife that's balanced to do the work for you.
A 67-layer high-carbon Damascus construction with a hardened cutting core, folded and forged into a single billet. It's engineered for lasting sharpness and clean, effortless slicing.
15° per side. A precise, narrow angle that bites into food with almost no pressure.
Around 60–62 HRC on the Rockwell scale — the sweet spot between a long-lasting edge and everyday toughness.
Yes. The steel runs the full length of the handle, forged from tip to heel. That gives you the balance, strength and control you feel from the first cut.
Real forged Damascus. The flowing pattern comes from the layered steel itself, brought out by hand — not a laser-etched print on a single piece of steel. No two blades look exactly alike.
It slices through vegetables, meat and fish beautifully. Avoid bones, frozen food and hard surfaces like glass or stone boards — that protects the fine edge on any high-carbon knife.
Rarely. With regular honing on a steel and proper care, the edge stays keen for a long time. When it eventually needs it, a whetstone or a professional sharpening brings it right back.
Hand wash and dry it straight away — never leave it wet or put it in the dishwasher. A light wipe of food-safe oil now and then keeps the high-carbon steel looking its best. Store it in a block, on a magnetic strip or in the sheath, not loose in a drawer.
Both. It's built to professional standards but sized and balanced for everyday home cooking — precise, comfortable and reliable.
It took a while for the pan to come. The cooking experience was good. The food really did slide right off the titanium interior. There was a slight discoloration when I washed it by hand. I'm going to try it in the dishwasher now.
I might consider another manufacturer in the future, but the lifetime guarantee makes this pan a keeper.
The pan cooks awesome I was warming up the pan on low heat and used no butter or oil for the eggs but the taste was a little bland so I started using a little butter and for the sausages, I used a little extra-virgin olive oil. The kids loved them. The pan cleans up easy I let it cool down and used liquid soap and a nylon brush. It looks brand new.
This is a christmas gift which has not been opened yet but looks to be good. Can you use metal spatulas etc. on it? it looks so good I will order a larger one.
Took a while to arrive but the pan is lovely, feels sturdy.
Followed instructions then fried 2 eggs, they did not stick. Went in dish washer fine. Hoping it stays good with more use. If its still good in a few months i will buy more.
So far so good. Only used 2 pans of set so far. Using a 3rd today for stir fried rice. The egg is the test. Did receive the rest of the set I ordered next day as ordered.
I seasoned it I followed the directions and my eggs were perfect and slid right out...I have to watch my stovetop because it does run hot even on low settings but the pan was awesome.
Frying pan arrived in excellent condition. I followed the instructions to clean and season the pan first. Next day I followed the " hot pan cold oil " instructions and fried my first eggs in there. I carefully fried the eggs on low setting and the pan did its job, no food sticking to the pan.
**My only concern is that the pan sits not flat on my glass stove top, it can be rocked from side to side !
I haven't used it enough to evaluate? Does it have a lid?
I often use a lid. I was surprised with your 500F. statement in the accompanying literature. I was hoping for 1,000F.
What would happen if I elevated its temp to 1KF.
The bottom seemed thin, however thin is good if it heats evenly. I have not evaluated your product thoroughly. I like the steep sides as it gives more working area. But, again, does it heat out to the edge. I will know later! You could send me real data and save me the effort as you already know the answers that consumers really want to know!
Best regards,
Jack
We had been wanting to upgrade for some time, we already had cast iron and some carbon steel, but the cast was too heavy as we're getting older so we started looking in to other options when we found the titanium, I ordered three piece with lids, 8"10" & 12". had a little trouble getting the temperature zeroed in, but once we did all is good. Love it!
